We often talk about mixing patterns of different shapes and colors, however combining such using a limited color palette such as neutrals can result in an effortlessly stylish look as well.

If you are wearing a collared shirt in a large dot pattern, choose a tie with thin stripes. Mixing patterns is a bold choice, and the point is to be seen from across the room. If you vary the shape and size of the prints, you can achieve a very stylish look with minimal effort.
